How fees work

We bill many health plans, including most PPO plans, for the parts of a visit a plan covers. A plan decides what it pays. Call us with your plan's name and we tell you whether we can bill it.

You pay at the visit. Before care begins, your doctor tells you what the exam and each visit will cost, and puts it in writing if you ask.

Ask for an itemized receipt, called a superbill, at any visit. You can send it to your plan, which decides whether to reimburse any of it.

If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us, and we give you a written estimate before your visit.

Call your plan before your first visit and ask what it covers for chiropractic care and for imaging. Dedrick, our patient coordinator, can tell you which services we would bill. We cannot promise what a plan will pay.

Your first visit is a talk and a seated exam, about an hour in all. Imaging is ordered only when it is medically necessary, and your doctor tells you why first. You pay for what the visit included.
