Care

Progress checks

A short visit that repeats the checks from your exam, so you and your doctor can see what changed and what did not.

Your doctor checks the same things as at your exam, asks how you have been and decides the next step from what is there that day. Often that step is another adjustment. Sometimes it is nothing at all.

A visit includes

  • The checks from your exam, repeated

  • A talk about how you have been since the last visit

  • A decision on the next step, made with you

  • A note of what changed and what did not

What to expect

What to expect

  • How long and how often

A progress check is shorter than your first visit. How often depends on what the checks show, and your doctor revisits the plan each time. We do not promise a number of visits.

  • What we do not claim

A progress check is not a test for any disease or condition. We do not promise results, and results vary.

  • Before you book

If your symptoms change, or you notice new weakness, numbness or trouble speaking or seeing, do not wait for a visit. Call 911 or see a physician first.

  • How it is paid

At the visit, with an itemized receipt. How fees work explains plans, self-pay and the Good Faith Estimate.
